Local Strategies for sustainable mobility. The case of Veneto region

Despite the growing interest in the topic of sustainable mobility, few studies have analysed this paradigm through the lens of literature dealing with local development. This contribution intends to contribute to this debate, first with a general overview of the concepts of smart cities, sustainable mobility and smart mobility, and then by exploring the policies implemented in the Veneto region with the aid of descriptive statistics. Finally, the results are discussed with an eye to the future of the Veneto region, a possible laboratory for experimenting with technological solutions connected to the theme of sustainable mobility.
