L’Università di Padova tra internazionalizzazione e pandemia: l’impatto del Covid-19 sulla comunità studentesca internazionale

In the last years University of Padua is recording a growth of foreign students consolidating an international student community. The contribution presents the research work carried out between 2019 and 2020 focused on the internationalization process of the University of Padua and in particular on experiences of international students. The arrival of the virus has inevitably modified Padua’s role as an international hub, testing its internationalization in the University field and in its relations with the city. Within this framework, the research intends to develop sufficient knowledge to identify potentials and risks related to the University and its relationship with the city in order to propose and develop interventions to coordinate and implement internationalization through strategies of promotion, proposal and design of policies to improve the visibility and international attractiveness of the city and the University.
